The problem with most contractors is that the intricacies of design are just lost on them. Even when the plans are specific in all the details they just don’t notice that the tile and the paint clash. At Home Front our project managers didn’t just go to trade school, they went to art school as well. Our staff have backgrounds in art history, art, architecture, energy efficient design, faux painting, art fabrication and woodworking. We are just as comfortable pounding nails as we are discussing the hue of your paint choice. We don’t just build walls but understand how that wall defines the space you live in. We understand that construction is not just a trade but a craft; that a project is not complete when the inspector signs off on the permit but rather when the morning light warms the integral plaster in your kitchen and makes you feel that your house is not a structure but home.
